OK Try 55 tops and shift at 2000 and report back

Also never let your eng run at idle for more than 10 sec.

Shut it off and restart

also, do not accelerate fast. Drive like you have no brakes which means you need to look ahead and let of the gas instead of using the brakes..........in good time it will come.

I'm getting closer to 50: 48.9mpg on my last tank. I would have joined the 500 club, but I filled up after 406 miles: 8.3 gallons.

From my experience when the gas light comes on you have about 2 gallons left. From gas light to Full you have about 9.2 gallons. From first auto shut off(click of the gas pump) to the top of the gas neck/tube you have about 3 gallons. So, if you get 48mpg then it will only take you 10.4 gallons to get to 500miles.

You can do it!

Another 50+ tank.

477.3 miles, 9.526 gallons = 50.1 MPG.

BTW - the owner's manual says 1.7 gallons left after the fuel light comes on. My fuel light came on @ 450 miles. So I could have gone to 535 miles. I'm trying to get a 600-mile tank.

So if I top off my tank, I'd have 12 gallons to burn. At 50 MPG, that's 600 miles!!! Well, maybe next tank will be my 600+ mile tank.

from gas light to full i get 8. something gallons. well to first click. the most i think i put in was 8.7 since i have owned it. But Fityfit.. i got 33 MPG my first tank and its went up since.. You a big guy, girl? I weigh 190 but I always have golf clubs and a bag with detailing equipment, car seat, and some coveralls and other work stuff making up circa 100 more LBS. I got 44.7 not being the greatest driver, no fas or drafting...
My pops in law says he averages 35MPG but he lives in Chatanooga and drives quite agressively in his 07 AT sport.
I mean i still have fun and i think this tanke will be a mid high 30 MPG tank as I am @ 1/2 tank and 201 mils so fars.. Also I did notice a difference on this 10% ethanol and strait gas too.. my car did much better on the alabama strait stuff,
Dan
