That really sucks to hear about someone egging your Fit. Hopefully the bastards that did it will either get caught and prosecuted or get their arses handed to them.

Idea: As a "defense mechanism" for vandalism, stock up on a ton of fireworks (Preferably the canister shell kind) and use either the tube supplied or get a metal pipe about 1" to 1 1/2" in diameter with a plate to close one end and whatever your desired length (the longer, the more accurate). When the perpetrator is spotted load one shell into pipe/tubing, light, aim, wait, and fire.

Is this "mechanism" legal, probably not. But it will make those douche bags think twice about damaging other's property.

well it turns out that it was actually MY redneck white trash neighbors, as i went exploring and found egg shell in the grass. which means this happened in the 2 hours it was parked in front of my house outside the gate (normally it's inside).

now i'm EXTRA pissed because i have 2 dogs and if anyone wants to start throwing things at my fit, what's stopping them from throwing something at my dogs?

oh believe me, if i find out who did it they'll be lucky if they just get egged back.

that sucks. i never understood as a kid why others loved to egg peoples cars.

i dont know i think it was just stupid. lets go around destroying others hard earn money and properties just for a simple ten seconds of adrenaline rush.

good luck, thats gonna leave a mark untill you paint it over again.

Absolutely, it will come back to bite this person in the arse. The only problem is that Pip might not ever know about it, depriving her of the satisfaction or feeling of revenge. But rest assured, Karma, or God, or the Universe, or whatever you want to call it, will settle the score. I really believe this.

Sorry that happened to your car. It is a sad statement of how people just don't care what problems or stress they cause to someone else.

I two have been a victim of the egged fit . Luckily it was only on my back rim. I don't understand how it happened, I live on a very small, quiet cul-dee-sac. My neighbor is crazy but she has not said 2 words to me since i moved in a year ago. If it happens again i will be more concerned.

Sorry to hear about your situation.

thank you both- steeldog, i do sincerely believe this as well. unless maybe in a previous life i'd egged someone's car and this is my payback.

i'd like to think not though

i too live in a very quiet neighborhood, but there have been some very shady people walking around lately. funny enough the day before i was just thinking how i shouldn't leave my car on the street in case someone keys it. laaaame.

Today I used the Maguiars #9 swirl remover. It is a very light idiot proof cut/polish. Did wonders on the swirls on my BBP, even took out a rub mark from a door that some jerk placed against my car.
