A nice surprise... well sort of

I bought our Fit used back in early May from a Volkswagen dealer. There was a small decal at the very top of the windshield that read "Hendrick Auto Gaurd". Curious as to what this was, I Googled it and found out that it was an extended warranty program. After that I didn't really think much about it for some reason until today. I called the Honda dealer that sold my Fit when new to ask if this warranty was transferable, and it turns out that it is. I just have to stop by the dealership and fill out some paperwork and I'll have an extended warranty. I felt at the time that $13,500 plus tax was a pretty good deal, and now this just makes it even better.

As for my "well, sort of" comment, this is what I meant. It's nice to have a warranty that cost me nothing, but come on, it's a Honda. It's not like I'm really gonna need it?!?

That's awesome news!!! It's like finding money in the pocket of some pants you haven't worn in a long time. Yeah it's insignificant to some, but it sure does make you smile
