Had been thinking about replacing my Jeep for a while and A/C just died, and a few things were looking to need some work (tranny & exhaust). In late April attended a green expo, saw some interesting small electrics but nothing that could replace or even really suppliment. Less than two weeks doing research and decided Fit was the way to go. Considered waiting for the 2009, but didn't care for the look as much and a few mods would bring the 2008 up to snuff (huzzah for dead pedal) although the telescoping wheel might have been worth it, ah well.

Test drove a few cars and decided that Fit worked the best. Day later signed on May 8th and took delivery on the spot with one that rolled off the truck that morning with 4mi on it. Damn lot for the dealer where they unload extra cars was down the road. ... Techs prepped and checked it while I signed the papers... Fuel bill is less than half, so that goes toward the car and I have A/C again!

How does the seatcover unzip? From the bottom?

Yup. If you look at the back side of the seatbacks, you will see a vertical zipper on each side where the sides meet the back. The end of the zipper is tucked up behind the cover at the bottom of the seatback. At the bottom there's a horizontal strip of plastic that mates with another stip of plastic which joins the front side of the seat cover to the back side of the seat cover.

Bonus! I had no idea access was that easy. That lumber thing is pretty pricey! Hopefully you'll tell us how it works out. Pics would be nice as well. Hopefully it's imperceptible under the seat cover.

What I received actually looks a little different than what is pictured. The quality seems to be ok, not top notch, but not crappy either. I've already opened up the seat back (it just unzips) and it looks like it will fit in there with little trouble.
please give an update on how it works! The Fit seat actually works for me, but I know my wifes car she hates the lumber support and has more back problems as well. Definately something I should look into for her. We're all different shapes, so it's nice to see an aftermarket product like that.

Got mine October 2007 for $17,500 out the door with 5k on it, but since it was a 'certified' preowned, I got the extended 75k warranty included instead of the lame 30K that come with 'new' models. At the time dealers around So Cal were asking about 1k over invoice if you could even find one. One dealer even wanted a $500 deposit just to be #5 "on the list" for one of the Fits that came in.....
Still loving it 30,000 miles later!

I had no idea such a thing existed. I thought you had to buy a chunk of foam or such. Excellent concept. I hopes it works with the fits seat.

New-fangled thing, Interweb or something.

I bought mine from someone I had never met; bought it on the phone and Internet, brand new, and then waited until it was built and shipped.
I actually had my VIN (and insurance) before the car got to the USA.

I got to see mine backed off of the top row of the delivery truck, the white wrapping removed by the porters, and then taken into the service terminal to begin it's P.D.I. She had 2.0 miles on her. I had been looking for a BOM Sport 5MT forever, and after waiting for two weeks, I drove her home

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM Fit!

Bought mine from myself. Yes, I sell new Hondas for a living. And I picked the one I wanted and waited for 30 days for it to come in with 3 miles on it. I didn't pay MSRP, but still didn't get an invoice price, either. Who cares?

VBM, 5spd Sport. I love this car! Wife wanted a gazebo for our annual campout at Pavement Ends. The old boy at the Farm & Home told me he had a car stretcher in the back. Told him I didn't think we'd need it! What a car!
