I have been searching for a CAI to fit my 08 5spd VBP fit. i have ran across several that are very sweet looking but are only for 06-07. is there anything about the 08 that will not allow these CAI's not to fit in the 08. or will they fit the same as the 07.

Hey, very nice-looking. I guess the big pan is to keep water out of the intake, huh? Or am I off base? Looks like it would work for that purpose, anyhow.

 

Is that an 07 intake on an 08fit?

 

there are no differences between the 07 08 fit except the addition of TPMS i believe, (anypart for 07 will fit 08 the are going to be completely different for 09) but if you want a short ram similar to that one talk to Sid 6.7. he is in memphis as well and made a home made short ram that seems to be working pretty good.

 

thats what i figured, i just wanted to make sure before i started buying parts that say 06-07. and another thing.

Yea haha, and with the floor mats i just went to walmart and bought the "premium" mats they match pretty well they are thick so they grab a lot of sand and stuff but for less than 20 bucks it was a good buy

 

^^^Amen brother, welcome to the church of Wal-mart floormats. I would only accept the OE floormats as gifts, not that they aren't spiffy and all but 112 bucks buys a lot of things I'd rather have than mats with the cars name on them.
