Unhappy Stereo fascia removal - HOW???

Hi, grateful if anyone can help. Just bought a CD changer and cannot for the life of me work out how to access the back of the cassette/stereo unit. Theres a single screw holding the fascia under the fan/temp controls, that comes off to show 4 other screws whcich you need the strength of Goliath to undo - is this the way in or is there another route (?) as I can't get 2 of these undone and I fear breaking something if I force the issue - many thanx - Howard UK

I've previously posted the diagrams on the above thread.

The clips are tricky and can easily be broken. I'd rather leave it to an expert car audio installer because if you break the facia its very expensive to replace. If they break it it will be very expensive for them to replace.

Actually, go to your local honda dealer. They have this "Audio Face Panel" fully fitted for £95. The option is for the Sat. Nav, thing is as you know, a sat nav is pretty much the size of a double-din unit. So just get them to fit in the audio face panel, and you just get a pocket and then fill in the headunit on the top half and bobs you're uncle....or maybe not...

I still need to get mine done, haven't had time to.
