Honda makes factory remote start

Hey guys and gals,

I was at my local dealership, finally getting that SRS recall done on my 07 SSM Fit. ad I found a brochure that says Honda now has a remote start.

Honda Remote Starter - Bernardi Honda Parts

It is also like a pager remote in that it relays the status of your car.

It doesnt seem that it is compatible with the Fit on paper, but im sure someone clever here will figure it out and make a DIY for all of us to follow.

I called my local Honda dealer some eight months ago, auto-start is available for the Fit here in Canada. Sadly, limited to automatics. This was from Honda, some aftermarket shop could have a different solution.

you can have a add-on piece made by DEi, and it works with the factory key fob, and as far as the use with manual tranny you can do this by bypass the clutch switch which many shop will not do.

I know you can get it done. but it will have to be something done by yourself. in your garage.

Thumbs up

Did mine, piece of cake

You'll need the bypass module and the wiring diagram.

GoodLuck!!!
