Gk5 Factory Remote start

Does anyone know if the 2017 Ridgeline proximity remote with the remote start feature on the same fob will work with the Fit that has the factory remote start installed. Key fobs look the same execpt the ridgeline has the start button built into the same remote. I just am not sure if the work on the same frequency or if the ridgeline remote will program to the fit. i have the factory remote start system installed on my 2015 fit ex. i dont like having to carry around two key fobs just to be able to start my car. Thanks for your help.

Subscribed. I'm in a similar situation. Dealer sold me a 2019 EX with only 1 key and I kept my 2018 RTL-E key fob from my trade in. Any new findings?

The two keys are your only option. The Honda auto-start system just piggybacks the factory key fob controls.

So I can reprogram my RTL-E key fob to sync to my Fit and include the remote start function?

Not sure. You will have to contact your local Honda dealer for that information.
