okay i found some add on remote starters for factory alarms/keyless entry but they all require the remote to have an unused button... any one got an idea like different but similar key or program the key so 2X press on both keys = turn on car???

Get a civic key. It has a trunk button.

problem with the factory remote starts is a severe lack in range. Some won't work unless you open the front door to your house.

DEI makes a add on 561t and youll need the transponder, all you have to do is hit the lock or unlock button twice (depending on program) and you remote start car with the factory key fob. can prob pick up for about 100 bucks, if you cant find it lemme know ill ship to you for good price.

you can use it still but just keep in mind that if you accidently leave it in gear and you remote start it will try and start and will jump till your car hits something to stop it.

true to the above. i had a mazda turbo with 5mt and a remote start and one of my friends left it in first gear when it was parked (some people just do that, i don't, but it depends on how you learned stick), and then we remote started the car and it drove across the parking lot by itself.

it's VERY dangerous.

and also, illegal. there are ways around it, but most shops will not do that for you anymore.

its an easy override, but I HIGHLY suggest against it on an MT. the cars LAUNCH even with e-brakes on
