My second repair-under-warranty
My second repair-under-warranty
Well, last weekend I just by luck discovered that the front tires was badly worn on the inside. I had parked with the steering wheel turned all the way to one side after parking in a hill. There was a 45 degree angle worn away, no tire pattern left in that area.
I bougt the car in february 2007 and I think any major parts on the car should last longer than that, and I wanted this fixed under warranty.
Went to my dealer and asked for a four-point wheel inspection.
The car went in to service 08:00 yesterday, at 10:00 I got a phonecall that my car was ready to pick up
Went there in the afternoon since I'm working in the daytime. I picked it up, no cost at all. They said this kind of things is difficult to take under warranty from Honda, since the steering and controll arms can be bent or damaged easy with you hitting a pothole too hard or a pavement. (I have not done either). But my dealer just added to the report that the steeringwheel also was out of line and then it went on as a repair-under-warranty
Nice!
But now my tires are worn down and I have to think of new ones... new wheels too maybe?
