Angry Back from an alignement and horrible play in the steering wheel

Well the title pretty much says it all, i just got an alignement on my car, since i installed GF210 springs on my Fit this summer...

the stiffness i had in the steering wheel was good IMO... but now it seems a little sluggish... I feel like there's a lot more play...

Is it just in my head or do i have a good reason to think direction is more loose?
might just be winter tires vs. summer, but they did'nt feel that way yesterday when i installed them... and they did'nt even give me the spec sheet... overall i'm disappointed by the service i've received...

Boooo! Go back. The fact that you didn't get a spec sheet says a lot. Ask them to redo it! =)

Amen, I paid the dealer I work at to have mine aligned while I was at my other job. My wife took it in and the steering wheel tilt was worse when it left than before. Me and buddy put it on the rack Saturday while I was there and the toe was further off after than it was before. Got it all fixed up now! Have them double check the right rear toe adjustment also. It has to be shimmed by the design but ALL of the Fits are bad about having excessive right rear toe in. Probably won't effect your problem much but it's worth checking.

Should be able to adjust it with a shim kit, but most dealers are quick to tell you it's un adjustable because it's very aggravating to do. Maybe it's not I own a GD3

rubixdimension - My understanding is that the rear spindle on the GE is welded in, not bolted in like on the GD. So, unless there is some welding/fabrication or rear axle swap, you cannot change the alignment in the rear, even with a shim kit.

If i'm wrong, someone please set me straight, cause I would LOVE to get the rear toe set! =)
