hey does anybody know if the jdm mirror w/lights is plug in play or do you need to wire them up???

has anyone done this yet???

 

They need to be wired up to have the folding option work....

Its really not that bad if 80% of the wiring already exists in the car. I was running power folding mirrors on my accord which was a dx and had to wire the entire set up from scratch which meant running every wire. I ran setups for a couple friends who had lx/ex with power mirrors already and all I had to do is wire the relay and switch and add 2 connections to each mirror.

 

I heard it was a not so easy install, and JDM mirrors cost an arm and a leg.

there was someone on this forum that made a plug and play harness for a pair of side mirrors he/she was selling. i cant find the thread or the member for the life of me though.

 

thanks for all the info. does anyone know if the blinker part of the mirror is plug in play?
