Replacing factory head unit question

Replacing factory head unit question

Please explain something I don't understand. I see from Crutchfield, there are plenty of head units that will fit in the Fit but how is it done? The Fit head unit looks very non-standard, non rectangular, especially with the round volume knob cut out.

You have to swap the faceplate around the original headunit.
New faceplates with 2DIN mounting can be found several places.
Search on this forum and you find some. I bought mine from Honda.

Through crutch you should/wil get the adapter from metra I think that's made for our fits for either 1 or 2 din setup.
