Factory Security or Aftermarket?

I am about to buy a 08 fit LX and it doesn't come with keyless entry nor security system.

In Canada, it's $2** for keyless and another $3** for security. That's over $500 total for the factory keyless entry and security.

Is it worth it to get it or should I spend on an aftermarket product that has both keyless and security combos in one for half the price?

Anyone with experience?
Thanks!

get aftermarket but install at a place that covers problems etc.

LOVE every min of the auto start.

My dealer convinced me to let them put in a "Prestige" brand security system/keyless entry for $400 (originally wanted $600). I know nothing at all about the brand, I hope it's ok. The keyless entry part works ok and there's an extra button on the remote for a remote starter should I get it later. If anybody has any opinions of the Prestige brand I'd be interested to hear it.

IF Honda will do it.. let them do it ALL. B/c if anything goes wrong.. They will cover it (warranty) Get the auto start!!

Hmm...still kinda up in the air. So far aftermarket seems to be better. Price is by far the biggest difference but I guess as long as the aftermarket product is under warranty and will be fixed if it messes up, I should just go for aftermarket?

Go aftermarket. Way more features and good possibility it will be cheaper then factory.
The most important thing about an alarm is the installation (how well the wires are connected, mounting location of components, etc.).
I've the facotry alarm and installed an aftermarket one on top of it to get a impact sensor.
Geepondy Prestige is an ok brand. Not highend but does have some name recognition. As long as it's working properly don't worry about it.
