Finally got my Fit! Need answers, though.
So I'm very proud to say that I'm finally an official Fit owner! I've been researching and shopping around for about two months, plus I've been without a car since September of last year when my Civic was totalled in a hit and run.
Anyways, I went with the Base model with the manual transmission. I've always driven manual, and had actually set out to purchase a car with AT (Los Angeles area traffic blows) but when I test drove the manual, I fell in love with it. After 4 days, I have to say that I couldn't be happier. It's incredibly fun to drive, and I've got just over 200 miles on the trip odometer and my tank is just below half.
But now I've got a lot of questions, mainly on where to buy what. I went with the Base model because I want to be able to put whatever I want on it. So this leads me to my main question: Where should I be buying parts? I'll be looking for a body kit, the OEM fog light kit, maybe a carbon-fiber hood, and some interior lighting. Can you guys recommend a good website that is trustworthy?
Also, I'll be installing my after market alarm here soon, and I was looking around for some posts but couldn't find any. Is this as easy to install as it is in a Civic? Any tips? And has anyone installed remote start and a power window option for an alarm system?
Last question. I'm planning on putting a double-din navigation unit in, after the alarm and tint. I've found a few dash kits that will work, but I'm really worried they're going to be cheesy crappy plastic. Has anyone put a dash kit in that matches the rest of the dash?
That's it, for now. I couldn't find the answers in the search, but if someone can point me in the proper direction, I'd be happy. Thanks!

As far as buying parts look at the vendors on this site.
Some sites to consider are Panducky, AJracing, Bulletproofautomotive, Optionauto, Hondafittuner, and many more.
Dash kit you can either get Metra or Scorsche. Look in the Ice section for pics to see which one you like.
Just did an alarm and not hard on this car.
Here's a wire guide: MAKE SURE YOU DOUBLE CHECK ALL WIRES
I used this before but didn't tap into everything so can't be responsible if the wires are wrong.

I vote for the search button. There is or just scoll down on the forum where there are vendor sections, and All type of FIT mod sections. But Fitting has it right ^ those are all good from what i have seen. Get some pics up to
