Real Honda OEM bug deflectors are sold by Canadian Honda dealers- not by American Honda dealers. But Zeta Products is the only American dealer for the exact same deflector- Zeta buys them from the same factory as Canadian Honda dealers. Buy the OEM deflector from Zeta, and save at least $50.00 off the Canadian price plus import duty plus shipping from Canada. Zeta is located in New Jersey. If you had used the "search" function of this site, you would know all of this already.

also, does it have to be removed for car-washing?

thanks!

Zeta is a great company. Really nice products except for the Fit plate screws which I had a problem with. Other than those, the deflector they sell should do well for you.

This is not quite an accurate description. The Mugen visors and the Honda hood deflector are both a "smoke" gray colored plastic. I have both, and can't really say that they match, only because the hood deflector's color is influenced strongly by the underlying color of the hood paint. The smoke/gray looks more like black on a black or blue hood. It is much lighter gray on a TW hood, and has a brown tinge on my BOM hood.

IMO, the deflector looks very good as a contrast/accent with any car color. The visors are mounted on the black surface that surrounds the tops of the doors, so they look even darker than they do just coming out of the shipping box. Maybe the visors and deflectors actually do match, IDK, but the deflector changes quite a bit against different car colors. The visors just look dark on any car due to the black background.

The Zeta deflector looks exactly like the OEM Honda one. Even the little plugs are in the same spot. The only difference...it has 'Fit' stamped on it.

As I have previously posted, the Zeta hood deflector IS the OEM honda deflector- they come from the same Canadian factory.
