Angry Someone backed into my fit! =( hit and run

UPDATE:
I went back to work today to look around the parking lot in hopes that the other driver worked in the area and would be parked nearby and although i did NOT find the other car, I did randomly meet up with one of the witnesses who just happened to be walking through the parking lot at the same time and got his name +number (which i didnt get before cuz they just left). so now I am going to update my police report tmorrow. I don't think it will help though, my insurance company said that without the plate number off the other car they are going to make me pay a $500 deductable!

Here is some better pics of the damage as well

and as you can see in this next one, the headlight seems to be pushed up a bit

OMG!
I was done my shift at work in about 5 minutes when my alarm starts wailing and my key-fob starts beeping like crazy!!
so naturally I RUN outside to see wtf is going on...
and as I walk out the door I see a white sedan high tailing it outta the parking lot, and my poor fit was hit!
Please excuse the crappy pic quality I used my cell phone.

I phoned the police but I don't think they found the CRIMINAL!
The bumper and fender are both bent and the plastic wheel well inside thing is messed up too. My headlight also points straight down.
There was 2 guys in the parking lot that saw it but they didnt get a plate number.
also, my car was the ONLY car in the parking lot! what the heck!
Bunch of SAVAGES in this town!!!

I was suprised how quickly the police responded, in just a few minutes there was THREE police cars at the scene lol 3!! too bad they didnt find the guy
although I do actually remember seeing a white sedan parked near me like an hour before when I looked out to check on my car so I'm thinking it could be someone who works in the same mall area so I'm gunna keep my eye out for a white car with a red dent

Sorry to hear about your Fit. :[ Hope you get it all setteled and they catch that guy..=/

Once I witnessed a hit-and-run, got the make and model of the car and plate number, but I never found out if they got him or not. Thankfully it wasn't my car. I would have cried. =/

^it's spelled "karma"

but sorry that happened to you, i'd be so pissed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

regarding police: i was on the 5 south (going from SD to SB one weekend), and i saw somebody brake check another car so bad that the driver in the back lost control of her car and went from the far right lane straight across all the lanes and directly into the center divider. it was like 65 to 0mph in 0 feet. i called the police to tell them the plate and make of the car that caused the accident but they never contacted me back so i really have no idea how everything went after that. i hope they figured something out.

By "brake check" do you mean that the driver in front braked because the car behind was following too closely? If so, I'm glad the ****ing tailgater crashed, they deserved it for being a douche.

So sorry to hear about your car what was the matter with that driver to hit your Fit like it was sticking out or something. It is bad enough that we just about get hit when people don't see us on the road and now they can't see us when we are parked too! When someone hit my truck and did $1300.00 worth of damage we had their passinger side mirror so we knew the color of the car and I hoped that it would help the police to find them. The policeman who came to do the report just flung it into his trunk where I am sure that it still is today! Good luck with catching the person responsible. Remember what comes around goes around!

Cat :x
