I've seen them on fit's on this site but cant find pics and I saw a blue Si today and it had it too, It's a little chrome piece coming out from the middle of the rear bumper with holes in it, like a little tail or a really short wheely bar...

Anyone know what Im talking about? What is it?

 

That's a tow hook, a lot of JDM guys put them on their cars, i think they look cool in the front and the back. Originally they were used only on racetracks but somehow leaked onto road cars...

 

It's a fad that will die down soon enough.

But hey if you suck at parallel parking it helps from messing up your car

 

Oh.....Ok thanks. This blue Si had it and had an arrow on the bumper pointing at it.... So I thought it had to symbolize something fancy.. not a tow hook lol

 

It means, "If you rear-end me, this thing will punch right through your bumper! Beware and BACK OFF!"
