i ALWAYS get asked if it's a hybrid. then i just laugh and say yea because the people that ask are always the retards driving Ford F-150's and Explorers.

 

hahah yu actually tell them that it is? how crzy... i tell them no. & then i gotta explain to them wat it is. hahaha i swear... i tink people tink are cars are from outer space hahaha

 

I showed my ID to the guard at the gate to the naval base and he goes "so how IS the mileage on this little Fit?" (dude was in his late 30s to mid 40s) and I told him I got 35mpg last tank just stop-and-go city driving and he goes "not bad, you have a good day now" lol not really a compliment or a diss, just a random question showing curious interest lol

 

The only ones who have told me the car was "cute" are people that know very little about cars. It is funny when
someone ask you what is the name of that car and you
answer Fit they look at you like your nuts!

I had a guy I work with say "It's cuuute" with a hint of sneer in his voice. He drove a white corolla though so I told him he didn't have much room to talk.

 

i was putting on my skunk2 springs when some guys from a construction site across the street came over and asked me what i was doing to this cute little car. i debadged it and they asked what it was so i told them it was a special honda specially imported from japan that was not released in the usa. They all thought that was really cool that i could import a car. i lmoa when they believed me. i met my current girlfriend cause she called it cute.

 

this guy pulled up next to me in the city... his girlfriend in the passenger seat. he asked me if he thinks my honda could beat his audi (mind u, my fit is stock as a rock, lol) all i said was, "Hey is that her car? I don't see many guys driving a tt" It was a TT!!!! A WHITE CONVERTIBLE! almost feel bad for the guy.... almost

 

been kicking it with this girl so much, she calls it cute everytime she sees my fit, and i was explaining vtec and junk to her, and i accidently said my own car was cute.. dammmit!

 

yup. get it frequently... they like the horn better.

When I brought it home my neighbor (in his 80s) asked, "whadduya get in that thing, like 100 miles a gallon??"
I said "yea, pretty much!"

It's been called cute, a hybrid, people stare slack jawed and point. My uncle called it a pregnant rollerskate. I've explained it as a mini-minivan.

 

I'm out of the range of "cute." but +1 rep for you anyway....

 

I've gotten all those, Cute, gets good gas, and i was in the drive thru at hardees and the dude thought it was a hybrid.
