Will the Fit come with a sunroof?

I've had one car with a sunroof & I miss it a lot. Passed over the Xb because it doesn't have one. Anyone know if the Fit will get one? Thanks for any input.

Only problem with sun roofs is that they lower the interior headroom a few inches. That can be a problem for some drivers.

babbalou,

We don't know if the US Fit will have a sunroof as and option but one is offered in on Fits in other countries. I think the odds are that a sunroof will be offered on the "S" version. If you are under 6'2" I think you should be OK with a sunroof.

If a sunroof is available on the Fit, I hope it is the tilt/slide type. I rarely opened the sunroof on my previous car, but I always hade it tilted. It pulls a lot more air through the vents without having to use the fan. If the rear quarter windows flipped out, it would do the same thing. One of my dad's friends had an 80's era Datsun (Nissan) hatchback that had a cable mechanism to open and close the rear quarters. The levers were on the center console behind the gearshift. Neat design. Wish it would be copied.

Lightbulb If Honda follows the LX/EX model pattern for the USA...

It's likely that the lower-end (LX) model will not sport a sunroof and the higher-end (EX) model will offer a sunroof as an option.

Thanks for the quick replies. Sounds like this may be the perfect car for me.
