Question question about buying a new Fit

Hi. This is the first time for me posting here. I have been looking at the 2009 Fit Sport. This will be the first new car EVER for me I live in Long Island, NY area. Was wondering if anyone had any experience dealing with dealers on Hempstead turnpike in Hicksville/Bethpage area. Was it a good experience? Also, has anyone been able to negotiate down below MSRP at all? Thank you all in advance for any help!

not sure about your area. but you will be lucky if you could get less than
MSRP. i heard of a hand full of people that got this. mostly all people paid
MSRP even me. now some also stated they paid more than MSRP which
is the norm for a new car that is hard to find. this is a very hot car right
now.
do your self a favor and call lots of dealers. make sure they will sell
you at MSRP before you go there.
good luck
