On my 08 Fit I had to have the IPOD jack replaced. It kept shorting out and beacme loose. Has anybody else had this problem

 

i just bought one from bernardi for 39.00 bucks shipped. if got a base model and im going to mod it. but all you would have to do is take the center console out and unplug unless you still have warenty for vehicle.

 

No problems with mine.

 

None with ours either.

Perhaps get a short USB extension cord, and plug your devices into it instead of the factory-installed cord. That way you will only apply wear to the factory cord when you replace your extension cord, which shouldn't be that often.
