Can someone tell me what this indicator is?

I am at work and don't have my User's Manual with me, nor is there one online for the 2008 Fit... at least I could not find it.

On my way into work today, about a half a mile into my trip, I noticed an indicator came on. It's located directly above the the Lights Are On indicator. I can best describe it as a horseshoe shaped indicator with a squiggly line at the bottom and an exclamation point in the center. It is yellow.

I found a 2007 manual online but there was no indicator of this type in the diagram that I found.

Can anyone tell me what that is? I'd like to call Honda today if it's something that requires a visit to Honda.

Thanks for your assistance.

Pretty sure that's the TPMS indicator telling you that tire pressure is low. Probably due to falling temperatures, but you should check all your tire pressures (when cold) and probably re-inflate to spec (around 33-34 psi, at least).

Apparently there is another indicator that says "TPMS" that tells is there is something wrong with the TPMS system itself.

Hope this helps.

Yeah, I just went out and looked at mine. The horseshoe has a bit of 'tread' at the bottom, representing a cross-section of a tire.

As suggested, air them up, but don't be too worried about driving a short distance unless a tire looks very low. Mine came on after a sudden drop in temperature, and all tires showed 30PSI.

After you air up, it will take a lttle driving time for the indicator to go out.

Thank you so much for the responses!

I stopped at the gas station today. All the tires were down a bit but one in particular was the culprit. It's all good now. It just got freezing here.

Thanks again.

I got that light when things first got cold here too. my Fit is brand new and the dealership inflated them to 35psi. after the light went on, I checked the recommended pressure on the side of the tire, and it said 44psi. I inflated them to specs, and the light went off. Is this right? It always concerns me when the dealer does one thing, and the info I get elsewhere says something else.

The recommended tire pressure is in your owners manual and should also be in the drivers side door jamb. The tire pressure on the side of the tire is the maximum safe pressure, not the recommended pressure for your car. Do not go by what is molded onto the side of the tire.
