Jazz on sale in Australia does this mean a facelift soon?
After test driving the new civic i found out that my Jazz VTi-s had
dropped $2000 in trade in value cause the jazz has been discounted by
honda australia until 31 march o6. Just wondering does anyone know if
there is a facelifted version due in Australia this year or are we
going to be importing a thai built version which will make it cheaper
and proberly better equipment levels? Anyone have an idea one whats
going on here?

From whay I've read the Australian market will start to import the Thai built Jazz that will include the rear disk brakes and other goodies. Not sure this would cause your recent Jazz to take a $2K depreciation hit because the Aussies seem to like the JDM sourced cars a bit more?
Maybe the some Ausfit guys will chime in with more info.

Nothing extra besides the brakes and the lower price due to the Free Trade Agreement. If we're lucky they'll replace the stupid integrated head unit with a standard DIN unit like in the TDM which would also mean Australian Honda dealers would finally stock the double DIN face plates and made decent aftermarket sound systems easier.
As for 2nd hand prices it will be interesting to see what happens as some people value Japanese built over Thai built but not everyone knows and unlike every other product in Australia the manufacturers aren't oblidged to disclose country of origin beyond the consumer decoding the VIN number. This suites European car manufacturers who produce in South Africa and pretend they are still European made and Holden who is busily rebadging every possible product made by Daewoo as Holdens to replace and expand their product range. By comparision Honda Australia is quite open about the CRV, Accord and now the Jazz being sourced out of Thailand.
I'd personally pay a premium for a Japanese Jazz over a Thai one (question is how much of a premium?) and the rear discs are not all that over the drums which work more than fine. I'll be test driving one of the Thai Jazzes when they land and I'll be very surprised if it brakes are any better than the Japanese Jazz. In fact I'm expecting the opposite because of better pads on the Japanese car.
