Agreed. I travel almost weekly to Central Valley. Not only do I have millions of tiny rock chips but I have bugs that are practically embedded in the paint now.. I honestly want to repaint the whole front and just put on clear bra for future reference.

maybe you should put it on now while you have barely any chips.

hmm where can i get a clear bra? i never looked into that. Plus i have an extra bumper haha, i bought it just for this sole purpose. Don't have to repaint, once its starts looking like crap imma replace it with the new bumper.

There are alot of companys out there that make the clearbra for the Fit. But i think theyre like 3-400 bucks though. And its not something i would install myself either. You might get air bubbles in it and itl look ugly. LOL

so far ive only had rock chips on the roof(the area right behind the windshield. Also on the inside of the front bumper where the fogs would be.

I don't think it is just Honda. In the last few years, all manufacturers have had to get away from solvent-based paint products in favor of water-based. It appears that we are helping to save the Planet, but these materials are much softer and prone to chipping.

Rocks do suck! I dont think Honda is the only company that makes cheap paint, cause Toyota does too. My car is filled with rock chips...

look into the 3m clear bra for future reference

most stealerships do it

if you plan on keeping the car for a long time it's a good investment

Venture shield makes a nice protective film too, comparable to 3M's clearbra.
