If they were black, the dirt would not be so apparent. Light colored interiors simply don't make sense to me unless you live somewhere that doesn't have dirt.

Concerning the color Blaze Orange Metallic, I think of it more as copper, which makes it more appealing to me, though I will probably get either the Taffeta White, or the Storm Silver Metallic if I buy a Fit.
Floridians avoid black -- it soaks up the heat, especially if you park outdoors at work all day. Black leather/vinyl is worse than cloth. We usually cover our steering wheels to keep from scalding our hands. Some people love black cars, and many are willing to give them up after a summer of trying to cool their cars down every day. We have sand -- beige sand -- and bits of stone mixed in, not dirt, and the least bit of it shows up on black. I have 2 dogs, one black, one white, so I can't win with the dog hair on dark or light colored upholstery.

Thumbs down

There's one color I wished Honda offered: Sirius Blue, a very light blue similar to the one offered on the first-generation Toyota Prius. I'd buy a Fit with that color in no time flat!

My wife would have loved the option of the eggplant color they have over in Japan. I would have preferred the option of the Lunar Mist on the Sport, with the black interior. Either that, or plain ol' Hi Ho Silver with the black interior.

The Sirius blue is nice, too.

I understand that, most times, yellow isn't offered because it has very limited appeal, generally. I believe the only other Hondas that had yellow were the old CRX coupe and one model year of the Prelude.
I was told a similar orange was very popular in the Element went it first hit showrooms.
Color is such a tricky thing to select on cars. I check it out at different times of the day to see how different natural light will affect it.

If a bunch of people complain, they might offer it in yellow.

Yellow was certainly my first choice before they released what colors we'd be getting in the NA Fit.

Well, perhaps that will change once the car has established a little USA history. Yellow did look great on that CRX Coupe (but very ugly on the Prelude due to the shade of yellow selected---YUK!).

Cpount me in for Yellow. My priorities:
(Yellow)
blue
dark silver
black
white

orange is disappointing. it doesn't look as white as in the website. it looks too brownish, like copper or bronze.

Didn't know that NewFit. Thanks!
If you check around, especially in any of the northern states, you'll see very few yellow cars on the road. Its sort of a Florida, California color. Not bad to look at but very few around.

Thanks

Thanks KenClunk for the pic. Been searching for those colors to have an idea
This would be my choice.

1 – TafettaWhite
2 – NightHawk Black Pearl
3 – M1lano Red
4 – Vivid Blue Pearl
5 – Luna Mist Metallic
6 – Storm Silver Metallic
7 – Blaze Orange Metallic

Too bad they don't have Tafetta White in Canada. I am debating on either Milano Red or NightHawk Black.

I would pick red or black as well. I think the Milano Red is the same as the Civic red, not the Si but the regular Civic Coupe and its very nice looking. I'm partial to black cars though.

After I saw these pics from this thread, I want the Black.
