Electric Cars
Hi Fit Freakers,
Toyota is planning the new EV (electric vehicle)...maybe for 2011. This one is only a two-seater. Have a look:

too bad the electric IQ will never be seen in the USA

Not sure I can agree with that. Here in our town in NM, there are far more Toyota Prius than Honda Fits. Not totally electric, but a start.
I believe one of the major problems here would be the Electric Grid. If we had 5 million people plugging their cars in for 8 hrs at night.....no way our present grid could handle that.
I believe that Pres Obama understands this problem....but solving it is a long way down the road, and many more billions of bucks.
But still good to think about!
