HEY CANADIAN FIT (GD) OWNERS!! i have a question for you.

hello canadians,

i am looking for the name of the fit that doesnt come with air conditioning. is it the LX?? also, if you can direct me to a honda parts website in canada so i can get the hvac switch housing that doesnt have the ac button and the non ac drive belt, that would be awesome! thank you and stay warm canada!

There isn't a online catalogue order site for Honda Canada. But you can order it directly from the dealers here in Canada. I have inquired about the DX's non-AC serpentine belt. It's cheap and in stock.

good to know. thanks. i am kind of scared to call without part numbers though. the belt wont be hard to explain to them but the hvac button is going to be hard to verbalize over the phone.

the ac lines kind of get in the way of the intercooler piping. also, the ac pump turns on when you put your defroster on. i have mine unplugged, but it still creates a small amount of drag on the belt. nothing noticeable but id like to just be gone with it. oh! another benefit of this is with the condenser gone, it makes the flow to my radiator and engine bay much better.
