Wow! Won't be here 'til May but...

After reading about that guy 's bad experience here in Northern Cal, well let me back up a bit...

Last Saturday while hooking up my girlfriend's laptop to the internet and setting her up for webcasts, I had to check out the connection, so who to call but my local Honda dealer, talked to a gal in sales and gave me the usual speel, not until April 20th da da da, but she told me she'd check on their list... about a half hour later calls back and says yes they have the color of choice (orange) and they were taking deposits. I thought about it overnite and called back Sunday ... of course the gal I spoke to wasn't in,
shucks what to do... So Monday came by I called again and decided to leave a message - found out she wouldn't be back to Wednesday...
I figured I'd wait to see if she calls me..
sure enough wednesday comes I get a call mid afternoon, confirms that model available and to come in and see her. The sun finally showed itself (no it's not always sunny here in Cal - we've been getting rain for over 35 days now...) I troop on over to the dealership (thanks for the tips and article about dealerships) ask for her by name, whew, she came out to meet me and had one of the new brochures on the Honda Fit, a wall poster and a certificate stating she had been to the fit dealer intro just earlier this week! (in the pouring rain she added) anyways I'm now signed up for delivery in early May!

Are you taking one that they already had ordered, or are you customizing it to your liking? If so would they charge you extra for that?

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you have to put down?

 

Customize? Only factory choices are the transmission, trim level and colour.

All optional stuff is dealer installed.
