The Magic Seat,...was this a clincher for anyone else??
The Honda Odyssey was the first minivan where the 3rd row seat disappeared into a well, so you didn't have to remove it from the car to have a large loading area (circa 1996 or 97?). A couple of years later, in 1999, I bought my redesigned 2000 Mazda MPV that had the same disappearing seat. I bet it won't be long before the "magic seats" start appearing in other manufacturers compacts.
I do like the magic seats. When I first saw the website for the Fit online a month or two or three ago, I was dazzled by the prospect of all that cargo space. My previous commuter subcompact sedan had a pretty ample trunk, but I still couldn't haul big stuff in it--that 40/60 split seat will only permit small items.
My first accessory purchase will be one of those cargo trays to protect the floor. Maybe an applique for the bumper too...I put way too many scratches on the back bumper of my previous car.

The Magic Seats was definately one of the major selling features of this car, combine that with the functionality of the hatch, the great gas mileage, 6 standard airbags, standard ABS, this car is a no brainer in this segment in my opinion.
