I may purchase a fit....questions

If this doesn't belong under this forum, please direct it to the correct place (not delete it....)

I am considering purchasing a 07 Fit sport 5MT in the Silver flavor.

It has close to 80k miles on it. What should I look for? I know the general stuff - clutch, trans, brakes, tires, oil level, etc. What things go wrong or should I look out for with a Fit with that kind of mileage?

My fiance has a 07 Fit Sport 5AT - she loves it, I like driving it, and I found one today for a decent price. I'm going to look at it tomorrow - the only thing is it doesn't have as much power as the H22 or K24 not a bad thing - it makes up for it in gas mileage

Thanks!

One potential "gremlin" could be the transmission mount, especially the one under the battery. Those broke on a number of CVT-equipped cars here. I know the US never got the CVT, but it's worth checking their condition all the same.

Other than that, I can't think of any other inspection areas. You'll want to give the electricals a once-over (Fits seem to be a little more dependent on good electricals compared to other cars - the steering is electric, for example), but that's about it.
