Late fifties here. Four hundred miles yesterday on ten gallons of fuel. What do we care what anybody thinks? Fit Sport works for us.

Cheers

Nice way of putting it or referring to my 51 years on the road.

My friends are sort of jealous if anything. Not sure if they are jealous of the Fit or the 21 year old blonde in the co-pilot seat. Well maybe she is a bit older.

p.s. Found two Sport Fits in my neighbourhood. Must go introduce myself.

Not laughing at all. I wish the FIT had been around when my mum was still alive. I wish it had been around when she bought her CRX si...as I think she would have liked it a lot better.

And I kind of think that she would be proud of my choice. I made a lot of bad choices in my life, cars being one of the categories. I always picked the wrong things for the wrong reasons.

I finally got some sense. Just wish she was here to see it. To see the FIT. And the sense.

thanks in advanced!
Tell them that there are a lot of people in their age group driving the car. I'm probably in that age group.

And yes, with the advertising on the Honda site, I too felt it was aimed at younger folks. I don't want menacing looks and I'm not out to conquer anything, I just wanted to get to the store and back.

But all the information I had pointed at the FIT again and again and again. I posted some of the links here:

Chances are, once your parent's friends see how great the FIT is and how it adapts for so many uses, they will buy one too.

Likewise on the overabundance of SUVs/Trucks being used as commuter cars. Trust fund do*ches and middle aged men and women mostly. Of course, everyone is driving alone...

However, I do see a few Fits around campus (where I work/live). I'm 27 and I have seen mostly women 22-70 and a few dudes 40+ in the GD and an even mix of men/women 22-70 in the GE. I did see a dude with a GD the other day at a stop light--he gave the the "right on" fist. For a while, I was the only GE around, save the "organic mom" lady up the street. Now I'm seeing them a lot more frequently.

Good luck to all prospective Fit owners.

Frankly, I don't give a flying fig what the rest of the populace thinks of my choice. I'm driving it for the better than 40MPG, great cargo capacity, and ultra low emissions ... the 'cuteness' factor is just a happy benefit.

nnnooooouu...the Fit is not cute. It's a manly car. Raised by ninjas to be agile and efficient.

Just turned 18 last month and had the Fit since Nov. 28, 2007. Around here I haven't seen anyone outside of the 20-40 range in a Fit.

I'm 27, but I swear the only people I ever see driving fits on the road are like 60+years old.
