That is so great! You ARE going to bring them on over to the Fit Freak site, right?

First, it validates their choice to see that there are indeed many people in the same age group.

Second, they get to see all the neat stuff that people do to their cars or fit in their FITS.

Third, it gives them a valuable resource for information.

Hope to meet your folks soon!

But you won't. Getting older sucks big time.

If I was 29...

I wouldn't be disabled yet.

I could run around like a crazy person.

I'd be pre-wrinkle.

I'd be pre-menopause.

I'd be able to walk without wincing.

I could work out and get in shape.

The sun wouldn't be my enemy yet.

Ahhhh, 29.

Why, there would have been hope. Meeting someone nice and good and kind. maybe even a child. And a house. On the prairie or in the city. Long before housing went nuts. When gas was cheap. When tomorrow held promise of "better".

But since I didn't have children, I plan on making all the young people's lives absolutely miserable with tales of "when I was a kid" stories...

You know, since I'm not restricted to my own family, I have to take it out...er...I mean...share with all the other young people that exist on the planet.

47

I'm 47 and there was some poll which said that most fit owners were older and female. I thought that was BS but upon observing the other fit drivers in my area I think the poll might have been dead on. I freaked one day when an old fat chick was chasing me, I thought, but upon reflection I believe she has an 09 BBP fit and just wanted to talk about the car or the color. I've got an MT fit and outran her easily but I should have stopped as there aren't that many BBPs in my area and I should have been friendlier to a fellow fit owner regardless of whether I found her attractive or not! I wandered a bit but to the initial poster MANY fit owners are old. It's the swiss army knife of cars and that has very broad appeal!

23 when I bought my '09.

Couldn't ask for a better price on a first new car.

Bought a Sport MT.

So happy!

I must be the venerable dean. I'm 68. Sold the E46 BMW 330i, replaced it with a 2017 LX 6 spd. It will be used as a daily mule to my other stable, Porsche 911 Turbo.
