Well, I had hoped I would get my car for my birthday, but that didn't happen. The dealer said they had an etimated delivery date of 4/14-4/18. They are closed on Sunday for Easter, so I'm hoping it will come in tomorrow. If not, Monday or Tuesday will have to do, but the wait is killing me! I can't wait to swap Fit stories with you all.

 

I know how you feel, I was cruising around a closed dealer's lot the week b4 hoping to get a peek at one in the back somewhere. "April 3" was all a car jock would tell me. LOL Trains run all weekend and maybe yours will arrive at the dealer by monday.

I got mine on the 4th and the best birthday I ever had was last Fri. I think
Aries are patient. Today was the first day I didn't take it out for a spin, working on the little things. Besides, my back is killing me from the lumbar support.

We have all summer to have "The summer of George!!!"

 

The US release date is April 20th. No fits are to be released b4 that date.

 

Our release date was April 3 and I had a test drive on Mar.31, car had 9K and the one I bought was sitting beside it. The first car sold was in Van and that was a week b4 I drove my car.

So of course not one car will be driven off the lot b4 the 20th. Don't bet on it.

 

Well today the 15th of April is my B-Day and mine is not here either...

 

Happy Birthday! I feel your pain. I just decided I will postpone birthday celebration until my car gets here (hopefully April 20th).

this one as the one where you waited for your Fit to arrive.

When you get to my age you deserve to celebrate for more than one blasted day. Celebrate for a week, a month , a whole summer, even.

My first new car ever was a 1980 Chev Citation X11 2 dr. Sports model. I ordered it in May and because of a strike in Ipsilanti, Michigan and the spoiler never arrived, I finally got my car on Nov. 10. And it snowed the day b4 and I had to learn how to drive a front-wheel car in winter for the next 5 months b4 the roads got dry again.

This will be the summer I missed!

 

Well I got my Vin # on Fri. That means mine is 5-10 days out. There are 9 total coming to my dealership. 2 will be here on the 20th and the rest on the 25th... I'm hoping but still not holding my breath for the 20th

 

My dealer gave me the VIN # when I put my deposit down two weeks ago, so I figured I would have my car by now. My theory is that it's here, they're just not releasing anything until the 20th.
