If only I was looking to buy...
If only I was looking to buy...
I received an advertisement from the Honda dealer I purchased my '08 Fit from today. It was advertising '09 Fits for $12,999.00 + tax, tag, and title! Regular list price stated at $16,015.00. Included in the options list was cruise control. I know in 2008 "cruise" only came on the sport model. If this is true of the '09s...then they are apparently advertising the sport model at that price?!! Incredible. Too bad I am not in the market to replace my '08 Fit at the moment.
Has anyone else been receiving any outstanding deals from Honda dealerships?
Lousy time for our economy...but what a buyers market!

Ok, I just finished reading the fine print and apparently the offer is for past Hennessey Honda customers only.
I looked up the stock numbers listed and discovered the Fits available at the 12,999 price are manual transmission base tidewater blue models.
Mmmh...the price makes more sense now. Apparently trying to move what's proving to be an unpopular color.

Heck, I'd not be surprised to see some discounts at any Honda dealership right now. My local dealer has no less than 12 Fits on the lot. Every color is represented, and every option. (wow, those Orange Sensation and Milano Red ones stick out!) Whether it's the price of gas or the re-design, I don't know, but the most GD3's he ever had on the lot at once was 2.
