I'm just wondering if Honda dealers are still selling 08 models, I figured they would be cheaper than the 09 ones. I would get the 09 but at this time there's no special offers

 

I doubt you will find any that are new, but with folks probably trading in their 2007 and 2008 models for 2009's you might be able to find one pre-owned.

 

yeah new '08's are very unlikely.... but nothing wring with a used one with low miles....

 

not so sure about that...a sales rep on a different board posted honda is offering a $1k dealer incentive (may be regional, not certain) on '09 fits so, depending on how competitive your market is they can be had for several hundred under invoice.

didn't see it on edmunds, but manufacturers tend to keep dealer incentives / trunk money close to their vest.

 

There is a used black 08 fit here in Anderson, SC (Piedmont Honda). It has around 2k miles on it. There should be a lot of dealers with the same kind of used ones on the lot. They are selling for about the same as the new ones though.

 

If your looking for a new '08 Fit your out of luck. The last of the '08s were sold new in July I believe. But if thats not the case, you'd just have to look around at various dealers and sites like Craigslist and Ebay.

 

what Honda 08 model specifically you have in mind?
