Looks like it's going to be awhile for me. Just got this email from the local dealer...

The all new 2007 Honda Fit' has arrived (finally!)!

Pricing is as follows (plus any dealer installed accessories, plus tax,
doc/VIN etch and license)...

Fit 5-speed manual - $16,895
Fit automatic - $17,695
Fit Sport 5-speed manual - $18,215
Fit Sport automatic - $19,015

When can you come down?

Haha, you dumb. I'm waiting until next year. My favorite part of buying a car is tormenting the dealer. There's no freakin' way I'm paying over MSRP. The best thing to do is threaten the walk out. If at any time you feel pressured, just yell "I will walk right out of here!"

Wow, it looks like gas is over $4.00 in Cali.
