got my license 1 1/2 years ago. Have been on a bike one time since then for a BMW demo ride. Finally bought a 2005 Kawasaki Noobie Ninja (500R) end of last season, and has been sitting there until now. Maybe I'll get it on the road finally this week.

So still a poseur at this point... :P

1986 Honda VT700C Shadow. Still in fine condition, with about 60,000 miles on it. Think I will ride it right now!

Before that, I have had many dirtbikes and on/off road "enduro"-style bikes, plus a four-wheeler or two. Suzukis, Hondas, and Kawasakis. Never had a Yamaha, a BMW or a Harley at this point.
My brother has a Victory Vision touring bike, which is really nice.

Please please please do yourself a favor and take a MSF course, if you haven't already. Even the slowest sportbike is scary fast, and shit can happen in an awful hurry.
Plus, all of us could stand to be better riders than we are.

I've had bikes since I was 12. Now I own a 2001 Kawasaki ZRX 1200 R (Eddie Lawson paint scheme) and a 2000 Aprilia RS 50 (the Honda Fit of bikes, 88 Miles per gallon)

I am getting my '94 Kawasaki ZX11D back on the road after several years sitting in my garage needing a minor repair. I am waiting for my new tires to arrive, then I am all ready for some spring riding!

Nice. Too bad you weren't on the east coast. We could put together a group ride or two this summer. Big Block Kawasakis rule.

No doubt. I actually took a course before getting my license. They could have taught me how to ride a bike in a hour session. But what the course focused on is teaching you how to think.

So I finally did take the bike out Friday. A bit lurchy at the very start, but it all came back to me very quickly. I put about 120km on it that day. Loving it again!
