Yup, got the first Fit in NJ today. Sport, manual, red.

Some pointers:

Dealer said other dealers will be asking around $1,500 over list for these, be careful.
Dealers really want to sell you on a ton of extra (vin etching, extram alarms, lojack) since these are cheap cars.
Honda's financing rates are not the best, Valley Nation has the best here in NJ... Ask you finance guy.
White (probably other colors too) won't be on the east coast until May from what I understand.

First impressions:

The car handles so well. It doesn't pitch and dive, it slithers like a snake from left to right. You juke it one way and it goes right there; damn impressive for a stock suspension.
It's not fast. I can compare it to a '99 VW Golf 2.0L. That's not to say a few mods won't make this thing move. REMEBER: Power to weight ratio is key.
It looks mean as heck. This thing is styled right; I'm impressed.

I'll have pictures up tomorrow. This thing is awesome. Can't wait to drive more tomorrow.

I pickedup mine in Jersey yesterday too. Blue auto Sport. Drove it all over between Trenton and Edison. Passed up dealers trying to charge extra for everything for a MSRP deal. Car drives like a charm. Chrome grill looks great.

On December 19, 2005, I put a $500.00 deposit (check cashed, not held) on the first automatic fit sport to arrive at the dealers. Still nothing.
