If your whole life revolves around what car you drive... you probably need to get a life either way...

hear, hear! also, you could always get a geo tracker. now THAT'S a hot car!

i didnt mean to piss people off. i am just saying that it is ugly and no one can deny that.maybe you bought it for gas millage, or whatever but its still ugly. i am not a salesman at honda. i am going to have to work on those little bastards and there isnt much room to do so(like every other honda) recall i guess isnt the right word, but there is a problem with a wind noise. just trying to let you guys know.

honsetly, that looks better than the fit. imo

i find it funny that you're in the fitfreak forums to tell everyone how you don't like it. Weird. If I didn't like the car I wouldn't even waste my time to tell everyone my two cents.

beauty is in the eye of the beholder. to each their own. i think the aveo, caliber, accent, reno and rio are all uglier than the fit. my opinion though.

If you think working on a honda is bad, try working on most GM vehicles. (from experience)

I live in Canada, I don't know if there's any difference compared to the US. But over here, dealers don't like to sell the Fit because they simply don't get much off from it. Plus, in higher demand areas, it is very likely that they need to order it. Anything that is made overseas, there's a higher price tag for it because of the tax (at least in Canada). The price, I think, can be justified just base on that point. As for the looks of the Fit, it is strictly a personal preference. My gf loves the appearance of the Fit, I like the appearance of the Civic. But if you were comparing the Fit against it's closest competitors with the same trim level (Yaris, Aerio, old Golf base...Versa anyone?), then you get a just as good looking, if not, better looking car. On the same note, comparing the Fit with the cars mentioned above, the price tag (again in Canada at least), is still very competitive. To be harsh on your opinions on a Fit forum is definitely unnecessary. Negative comments are welcome, however, have some facts to back-up the things you say. And especially if you're working for Honda, what good does it do for you to voice such opinions?

Hey Troll! have you ever seen a European small car?
For a mechanic you have no appreciation for technology do you? Have you driven it?

Glad to know I won't been anywhere near your dealership.

dealers dont make much money on any NEW car. they make money off of service and used cars. correct me if i am wrong but the point of a forum is to tell others what you think. i think honda will sell alot of fits just because it has a honda badge on it and the fact that gas is so high. but come on, no one bought one of these because they love the way it looks. you cant convince me otherwise.

i acually have driven it. the technology is nothing different than any other car. the car is underpowered, but otherwise drives nice. the tranny is nice and smooth shifting. you guys dont get the fact that the only thing i hate about the car is the way it looks. read my posts before you open your mouth

Not planning to convince you to like the Fit. Just saying there are people that likes the out look to it. And remember, the Fit is the lowest priced (base wise) car they are selling right now and for the car at that level, it is relatively good overall.

finally an intelligent post! i am not slamming the car its self. i just dont like the looks. you are the only one that realized that its just someones opinion and who cares what i think. if you like the car great! i have always been a fan of honda and thats what i own and always will own. but styling is a key part when i buy a car and this car just doesnt have it. IMO
