Buy your Fit NOW at MSRP....

Hey guys, I had to back out of my deal. First Texas Honda is holding my deposit if someone on this board wants to buy my Fit AT MSRP.

2007 Black Base Manual Trans. I never even test drove it.

If interested please PM me or Call Mike Deltz at First Texas Honda. Located in Austin, TX.

You can reach him at 512-381-1342

Call your bank and cancel the check. Problem solved. Surely, you didn't pay cash.

If you used credit, dispute the charge. Its easy. I did it before with Citibank, and they promptly took it off, no hassle.

No I can get my deposit back, but I thought I would give the board members to take it first before they just put it back on the market

Oh, sorry, i misunderstood. I read it like they were holding your deposit hostage pending a replacement buyer.

Wish they would get mine in. 1st Texas said their first shipments were mostly black, white and silver. I have a deposit on the first sport model in orange to come in.

I take that back... First Texas Honda is not refunding my deposit. They are being assholes and I reccomend that anyone that has been doing business with them stop immediatly. I thought they were in it for providing the best customer service yet they are stealing my deposit even though the Fit has been already resold. THIEVES!

Thats illegal! You can sue for Breach of contract or Fraud. What does the paperwork say? Refundable or not.

Ouch, Tony!

I walked in and walked out with a Base MT (Lunar Blue) from Classic Honda in Round Rock yesterday. No deposit, bought at pure MSRP with no extras tacked on (Their Sport had an Appearance package tacked on. *roll eyes* Nevertheless, it sold at the same time I bought mine).

I would check the terms on putting a deposit down. For some dealerships, it's a guarantee of sale.

$2,000 over MSRP

I just saw my first Fit (the only one left) at the dealer. It was a Sport MT and said MSRP $15,170, then the sale price said $17,170 with "destination charges". This sounds like a rip off. I don't want a manual transmission but if they are charging over $17,000 for a manual, what will the automatic be? I think I'm going to cool my Fit fever or make a trip to Seattle for a better price.

I love the car's appearance! Much prettier face in reality than in the photos.

For many dealers the deposit is a sale. They can keep your money if you don't take the car. Did you sign something to this effect, or was it a handshake type of deal?

Update... After much hassle I finally received my deposit back. The management is great there. The sales people seems shady though. Hopefully I will be able to buy a used fit next year.
