Trunk cover shopping....

I've had my LX auto for a couple of weeks so it's time to start shopping for extras. Where can I get the best price on a trunk cover (lid?). Remember that I am in Canada and shipping costs from any US suppliers would change prices for me. I am going to get a price at my dealer but I think we all know how thats going to work out.

I know what you are talking about with the dealer, but remember, you get what you pay for. I will be bucking-up for the Honda cover. It's designed for the car, so you know it will fit and work as advertised. I think that is worth a few extra bones. Just my $0.02

If you are worried about security of putting bags or parcels in the "trunk", I used a black cotton trunk cover from my Celebrity. When you cover anything with it, you cannot see anything by looking right close up to the window, everything looks blacked out. Problem solved for no cost.

I also found the area between the rear, under seat bars would hide my tool folding pouch.

I am not used to the space under the rear seats and always forget i can stash stuff under there to keep it out of sight. duh! good idea with the fabric cover idea...might be worth the effort to custom make one if the Honda price is too high.

Another thing to look for is the "Sof-Styles Foam Mats" at HDepot. They can be hooked together and I cut one up to make kneeling pads for myself and friends. 4 pack=16 sq. ft.

I also got a shipping blanket like furn. movers use to cover anything or to protect the seats if I need to carry something long like 2by.
