Bad Experience w/ R&D Motorsports

On 3/20/09, I ordered a J's C-pillar bar from R&D Motorsports... [http://www.randdmotorsports.com/cart/]
  • R&D charged my acct on 3/23/09
  • No tracking information was given
  • On 4/7/09, I asked for status of the order. They said the part needed to be ordered from Japan which could take as long as 4 weeks. This was the last suspension part I planned to order so was willing to wait...
  • On 4/25/09, asked for status but got no reply so I emailed and cancelled my order
  • Tried to dispute the txn via PayPay but they do not process disputes for automotive type sales
  • Multiple emails & calls finally got a response from R&D saying they'd credit my acct by 5/15/09; I only got the answering machine
  • It's 5/28/09 and I'm still waiting for a refund...
I'm gonna try and dispute the txn via MBNA (bank that issued my card).

On 5/22/09, I ordered the Js C-pillar bar from AJs and got it on 5/26. Unreal!!

The Better Business Bureau's website gives R&D Motorsports a rating of "F". They have a lot of unresolved compaints. Does not look good...

Beware of this merchant.

Yeah, they were even cheaper than AJs website so R&D looked promising. I should've ordered from Evasive Motorsports instead. [Evasive Motorsports - Your Source for Import Automotive Performance Parts]

Wow that is horrible customer service. Surely someone to stay away from.
