3 dogs, one brand new Fit

Suggestions? I'm keeping my other car for a while - but the inevitable will come. I'm thinking use it as a wagon (back seat down) for the Rottie mix and Shar-pit, then letting Petunia (terrier lab) ride shotgun.

Any ideas re: keeping the car nice?

They make a pet barrier for the rear cargo area, find it on collegehillshonda.com or bernardiparts.com maybe. Get that + the cargo tray and you're fine

i bought my car for my dogs, and did a few things to keep it nice. I also drive it like a coupe-wagon (backseats down all the time)

1. I put a rubber mat in the back (cut up the mat from my F-150 bed to fit).
2. I put clear bra material on my rear doorsills. My old guy had trouble getting in and out and would scratch up the paint. I bought 6' of bulk film from Clear Defender for this.
3. Kurgo backseat barrier. Keeps them safe back there and not in my lap. I always worry about dogs riding shotgun. I know plenty of people prefer to crate them in the car even.
4. I have the weathertech front floor mats. Has nothing to do with the dogs but I think it's a necessity.

I also really want JDM window visors, so I can crack the windows for the dogs on those hot rainy days. But I havn't gotten around to that yet.

Another option is the Hatchbag: https://www.hatchbag.com/suvcargoliner_hatchbag.php

It covers the sides as well, so the interior is well-protected.

Right now I have my back seat removed,
my 2 Collies seem to like it a lot better.

You will probably consume a lot of masking tape picking up all the dog hairs. You might need to worry about whether toenails can damage the fabric.
