Heads up!!!

Went to my dealer to check out the Fit as soon as they got them in. They had a blue one on the floor but wanted to see the other colors so the salesman lead me to the back lot. On the way there I saw a silver sport sitting in one of the service stalls and a guy standing on a bucket next to it applying some kind of RTV accross the top of the windshield at the rubber moulding . I asked what this was about and the coat and tie that was directing him said "it is part of the installation procedure". I asked installation of what? No response. I said "looks like a band-aide for some sort of manufacturing defect". Again, no response.

Anyone know what this is about? I think it is an assembly issue that they will, hopefully, get corrected soon.

Thanks....

There was some technical bulletin about a gap in the windshield or something that came out right when the Fits were released. He was probably fixing that.
