front windshield squeak

i only have 600 miles on the car but the front wind shield is squeaking when i go over minor bumps at low speeds. it's more of an annoyance than a problem. 1. is it worth it to take it to the dealer?? 2. i'm out of the area where i originally bought the car, is it a good idea to stick to any local dealer? tx

I've never heard of this before, anywhere.

Actually my Fit started to develop this "windshield" squeak, left front corner somewhere. I have about 2200 miles on the car and it just started the other day. Though it has seemed to take some time off for the time being. Hope it stays that way. It can be very annoying. If it returns I will let the dealer look at it when I take it in for one of my free oil changes...

Mine has a similar noise as soon as I'm not on glass smooth roads. In Canada you can bring the car in to your dealer up to 12 000 kms for little adjustements like this at no charge to you.

I assume it would be something similar in the states.

I have it too. I might bring it into the dealer sometime to have it looked at. Seems to only happen in cold weather.

yeah, i should like rubber rubbing against the glass.. sorta of a squeegee type of sound. as i said it's more annoying than being an issue. i'll prob take it to the local dealer and see if they can do anything about it. however it's not happening today but was def making the sound last friday.
