Question Will 18" wheels fit on my 08 Fit???

im wanting to buy some rims for my fit, but i was wondering if 18's will fit on it, i was thinking i may need to buy some longer lug studs, or even get the fenders "rolled" does anyone know for sure???

I believe it should so long as you are not lowered much, the wheel width is 7-7.5in. and/or the wheel's offset is not too low. I'd look for a wheel that has an offset of +42 if you don't want to roll your fenders; +38-40, if you do not mind rolling.

If you are a little sketchy about going with 18s, go with some 17s. Here is a member's thread who is running 17s and is lowered.

I dont think 18's would look right, not to mention the problems arising from fitting an overly huge size rim on it

so i should probably just go with the 17's then? shouldn't have any worries about gettin' the longer studs with 17's

Yep. 18s are massively impractical on a Fit. Go with 16s or 17s

aren't studs only affected by offset and width and such....not height, right?

right not height, but not wheel width either, and offset only if you have added spacers.

And back to the thread author, 18's will probably give you a very rough ride and have a greater potential for bending because you are forced into such an extremely short sidewall tire.

sorry for reviving this but i forgot to mention, the FUEL ECONOMY / acceleration benefits of running a smaller, lighter set of rims! we're talking unsprung, rolling mass here. the performance and weight savings of 1" can definitely be felt, its not just something you think might be affecting your car.
