Who needs a hybrid?

Sidewall max is 51 psig but that feels like 32psig. Every tire is going to be different since they are made with different materials. I believe the tires I have on the Fit now are Kuhmo LX Platinum which are rated at 60k miles. I hope to get more than that out of them.

Side note: my father-in-law only achieved 26k out of his tires on his 2008 Fit and he does mostly city driving with 40psig. I am still not sure that higher psig will make the tires last longer but it does coast better. I think the driving habits and conditions are the major factors of tire wear and maybe psig.

I would consider getting a fit plug in, but you know honda will never have a plug in version until Toyota has had it for at least 5 years.
