DIY - Dead Pedal

Yeah, that's one thing that's started to bother me as well...

Basically, it's just a block of wood and some double sided sticky tape.
Put that under the carpet and screw the dead pedal into the wood.

Interesting workaround for one. Sounds far less damaging than bolting one down onto your floor.

I never use the dead pedal in cars, so I'm not missing it. I tend to draw my left leg closer to me when I'm cruising.

I'm gonna try the first one....doesn't look that hard, just have to get the wood piece correct.....and then you can basically choose any dead pedal you want...

No dead pedal ?

Drawing in your left leg won't work as well as you think, not in the Fit anyway I'm afraid.

The gas tank under the seat prevents this.

Good try though.

Since I'm old enough to remember when most cars didn't have dead pedals, this is like a little "old school" touch for me.
