Arrow Fit's Available

My local dealer has 2 Fit's sitting on the lot. I've actually driven both of them. (I can't wait till mine comes in!!!!)

There is a Alabaster Silver Sport MT and a Black base MT.

MSRP is on the sticker, no markup.

Accessories are lame.

My dealer called me yesterday and told me that they had a black Fit Sport. So I ask them, if at all possible, to leave it stock for me. I told them I was to make my purchase today. I rush over there as soon as I could the today only to find out that they added "accessories." They threw on rims and a "prokit."

"Racing Hart" rims - $2500
"Racing tires" - $1500
Prokit - $600

$4600 in options!!!

Okay. I understand that dealers need to make their money... but man, why such money mongerers?? Another thing, the "Racing Harts" were really Volk GT-Cs with a "RH" centercap and even then, I can find either the Volks ($1700) or the Racing Harts for much cheaper... and tires DO NOT cost $1500 even if they were mounted and balanced. The prokit, as I was told, included mudguards and wheel locks.

I was extremely unhappy especially since I requested them to leave it stock. I had my money ready to pay in full and they had the nerve to ask me to pay $20k + tax and license because of the added accessories. I'm sorry but some Honda dealers are bastards to deal with.

I am not talking about you PhillyB. But today was an incredibly unpleasant experience with some Honda dealers.

As of now, I am back to searching for a Fit Sport.

That's why i was willing to pay the 1600 markup :\ I wanted another color (blue, black, or white) but noen were available not cuz other dealers dont' wanna trade in, but rather they were sold out! The incoming ones are mainly automatic shifts. I wasn't even going to go last sunday to buy, but jsut talk price. When i realized it was hard to find (even in the forecoming 6 months, since many are sold out before they even arrived on US soil), then i bought it.
